Syakirah's first encounter..

Alhamdulillah Syakirah turned 8 months last week.

We celebtrated it by visiting Tok in Temerloh..

However, after returning from Temerloh, she came down with 4 continuous days of fever. It got Zairul and me really worried. We took her to the doctor 3 times in the last 2 weeks.

Finally the fever broke into heat rash all over her body. It looked like she was infected with a terrible skin disease but Alhamdulillah it cleared up and she got back to her usual cheerful self only yesterday evening..

Due to this she missed 2 birthday parties..

Zairul's mum said that normally kids fall sick to only recover to start doing new things like walk and grow teeth. As for Syakirah, as soon as she recovered, we found that she could clap on her own.

Never thought clapping would make us feel really proud.. :-)

The computer is down for the moment but when its up, I'll update you with the latest pictures on Syakirah's latest developments.
