A weekend with family
Alhamdulillah my dear Tok Maharum turned 90 on Saturday 12 April 2008.
All her children and most of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren gathered at her house in Temerloh. We brought yummy food ranging from daging salai masak cili-api, ayamas, KFC, sayur goreng, kari ikan, fruit tartlets and pulut kuning with daging rendang.
The last time my grandmother's children gathered together for a happy occassion was way back during Raya in 1991. After that we only gathered for my late grandfather's funeral in 1992.

Also the same evening, we went to Yong's house for Kashfi's birthday, he turned 17.
He received his dream guitar from his parents.. I was told he blushed so hard when he got the guitar.
