Reflections on my experiences..
Syakirah has been tirelessly practicing to feed herself.
In the efforts of doing so, she usually gets drenched with soup or whatever else that she is eating. Under normal circumstances, we would have freaked out, but this was so enjoyable that we hardly noticed that she was literally bathed in soup right down to her legs.. Until we picked her up..
Oh well, as long as she is having fun and learning, I shouldn't be complaining should I?
We managed to take another set of Syakirah being her Cheeky little self. These picture were actually taken on the evening of Zairul's birthday..
A farewell lunch was organised at Delicious BVII for Mei Ling who will be going back to Accenture HQ. Actually, I wasnt part of the plan, but since I didnt have a car to go anywhere else and all my usual lunchmates were attending this farewell, I joined in the fun..

Alhamdulillah, we have come to another new year. To me its a more meaningful one. This new year is more spiritual, one where only Allah can gauge my failures and successes in the past year. And for the coming year, only Allah knows what I have wished for.. InsyaAllah, it will be a great year for most of us.
For a great start of this year, my friends and I celebrated our 20th year of friendship. Well not really 20 years for me, I joined the group 4 years later, but overall, like Ella says " We've known each other longer than we didnt".
Its nice to know that we have gone a long way. School, Uni, Work, Single life, love lives, married life, motherhood and everything in between.
I am really glad I made the switch.. I love you girls..

Just a little update:
I sent Syakirah to her first day at Playskul at Alim Kids in Mutiara Damansara last week. She had a lot of fun but was easily distracted with the other kids..
Finally after almost a week of me practising what we learnt at the class last week, Syakirah can identify the song and the movements when I sing it to her..

Goodbye to 2007..
It was a great year, 2 new jobs and many new friends, a few babies and a marriage of some long time friends. It was also a sad year as Yoba passed on just short of his 13th birthday on 12 November.
