Turning 16 for the 17th time..

Last Sunday, Syakirah and I had a good time together at home. It was just the two of us enjoying time with each other.. The maid cuti, mother inlaw was out, Zairul went golfing, Tok went for a seminar, Neena and Eda went shopping.. So it was just me and SHaky..




..."Mum, are you going to bathe me or not??"...



That night Zairul took us out for dinner @ KGNS.

The day I went Hunting...

I joined a Treasure Hunt for the first time in my life today.. AND WE WON 1ST PRIZE!!!

The hunt began at Kelana Seafood Restaurant and ended at the Putrajaya Lake Club.

We won a cash prize and a huge hamper.. Alhamdulillah..

To my dear teammates, thanks for giving me the chance to experience this.. and winning was just the icing on the cake!!!!

A weekend with family

Alhamdulillah my dear Tok Maharum turned 90 on Saturday 12 April 2008.

All her children and most of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren gathered at her house in Temerloh. We brought yummy food ranging from daging salai masak cili-api, ayamas, KFC, sayur goreng, kari ikan, fruit tartlets and pulut kuning with daging rendang.

The last time my grandmother's children gathered together for a happy occassion was way back during Raya in 1991. After that we only gathered for my late grandfather's funeral in 1992.

Also the same evening, we went to Yong's house for Kashfi's birthday, he turned 17.

He received his dream guitar from his parents.. I was told he blushed so hard when he got the guitar.

Syakirah loves to identify our (Zairul & mine) watches, so we decided to get her a little pink one. She wears it everyday now.

Disney on Ice @ Bukit Jalil

Shima bought us ticket to go watch Disney on Ice at Stadium Putra Bukit Jalil yesterday..

Syakirah absolutely enjoyed it!!!

Next time we'll ask Babah to join us.. Sorry Bah, we really didnt mean to leave you behind. We missed having you with us too..
